Ghanaian Woman who delivers on flight

A Ghanaian woman over the weekend gave birth to a bouncing back boy during her return trip to the  United States of America.

The trilling experience took place on the United Airlines Flight 997 from Ghana to the Washington Dulles International Airport in the US.

An eye witness said the woman went into labour six hours after the plane had taken off from the Kotoka International Airport(KIA) in the West African country’s capital, Accra.

Tiani Wareen was returning to Los Angeles in the US after three weeks charity mission to Ghana.

Warren disclosed she boarded the aircraft at the  Kotoka International Airport after her visit to the Shishidzee school in Jamestown, Accra, to assist the school.

The Los Angeles based philanthropist recounts that she fell  asleep some moments after the plane had taken off.

Warren said she was awakened later by the moans of the woman who was then in labour.

Luckily for the mother, a physician and a nurse flight attendant of the United Airline flight also a Ghanaian on board the aircraft rushed to her aid. She delivered on the floor of the aircraft’s cabin just in the space in front of her seat after a close to two hours in labour.

United Airline management later told the CNN that the airlines  crew and medical professionals onboard did their best to ensure everyone was safe on the flight.
