Ghanaian basic school pupils in the Akatsi North District of the Volta Region of the country have built a bedroom house for their mate’s mother following their class his sudden demise.
Prosper Datsomor, who was earlier diagnosed with peculiar tumor at the Ho Teaching Hospital where he was undergoing treatment died months later.
According to close relatives and school mates , Prosper was a talented footballer who represented his school in soccer competitions. He made his school proud with his talent at a tender age of 13. Until his sad death young Datsomor had received several awards to his credit and school during football career.
His mates who were touched by her poor mother’s predicaments contributed to build and donate the house in memory of their late friend in presence of their teachers.
The CEO of Afi Antonio foundation, an NGO that sponsored part of Prosper’s medical bills express gratitude and appreciation those who assisted during Prosper’s sickness.
Afi Antonio also on her social media handles announced the kind gesture by the deceased’s mates
“Thanks to his classmates for their contributions towards the construction project and his teachers who made sure everything was perfectly done.
It is good to see a smile on the face of a bereaved mother once more”.
